Then maybe you should try out Kaze And The Wild Masks.
Kaze And The Wild Masks is a platformer created by indie developer Soedesco and it hits you right in the nostalgia feels.
In Kaze And the Wild Masks you play as Kaze on a journey to rescue your companion Hugo who got turned in to a floating red creature after investigating ruins in the Crystal Islands.
As you journey The Crystal Islands in this 90s style platformer you come across masks that grant you incredible powers.
This particular mask lets you fly.
This game features everything a 90s platformer would from a Super Mario World style map, to a time attack mode for the more hardcore players.
The artwork in this game is just gorgeous you can really tell there was alot of love put in to it. From start to finish the love is there.
It brings back all the nostalgia a 90s gamer loves. As you play the game you’ll come across bonus stages that usually get you one of the stages collectibles. Usually they consists of collecting crystals or beating some baddies within a certain time limit.
For example in this particular bonus level you have to collect crystals within 30 seconds.
Kaze And The Wild Masks is rated “E” for everyone, and is well worth the thirty bucks on the Nintendo Shop. You can also buy it from steam and the ps4 store. So if your child is in need of a new game or you’re in need of a cute platformer but Mario is just too easy, I highly recommend this. What are your thoughts on this nostalgia driven platformer?
